The news is in! We heard from our agency today. Our dossier has been submitted to the ministry and we are officially in the queue!! As long as nothing is wrong with the paperwork, and so far nothing's been said, we should be receiving a referral AT ANY TIME. Now, I don't expect it to happen tomorrow or anything, but still, it feels really good to know that our next step should be receiving a picture of a child that's been chosen as ours.
It's hard to express the excitement I feel at this time. It's been nearly a year since we submitted our dossier to Vietnam, and that didn't work out so well, but this time it feels much more real. With Vietnam, we knew we were at the bottom of a long waiting list, but this time, we should be much closer to the top. While we really have no idea how long the wait is from here, I think it will happen this time.

Congratulations! You're the first family that I've seen have their dossier submitted to the ministry. We're waiting on our Guarantee letter from the US embassy then we'll be in the queue too. I'm looking forward to following your journey!
